WHY CAN'T MY 6 YEAR OLD BE IN A GROUP LESSON?
Younger children tend to take a lot of one on one attention when first learning. The child will learn faster and have a more enjoyable experience.
WHAT IF THE GROUP TIME IS HARD FOR ME TO MAKE?
We recommend booking or upgrading to a private or semi-private lesson.
HOW OFTEN ARE PRIVATE LESSONS OFFERED?
Typically on the hour during full ski school operations. We always recommend reservations to guarantee a lesson on the day you're interested in visitng.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I GET THERE?
At least an hour early, 2 hours on weekends. For the first lessons of the day at 9am or 3pm, arrive 30min early when our office opens. Classes fill up fast on the weekends and it takes time to sign in and get your equipment rented and ready.
I’M LEVEL 3 OR ABOVE. DO YOU OFFER GROUP LESSONS FOR MY LEVEL?
Once you are level 3, we believe you need focused attention to really improve. Contact us for private/semi-private lessons!
IS THERE A DEPOSIT ON RENTAL EQUIPMENT?
Yes, there is a $400 insurance deposit hold on all rental equipment. Your credit card information is taken upon arrival.
I TOOK A GROUP LESSONS. CAN I UPGRADE TO THE MULTIPLE LESSON OR PRIVATE LESSONS PACKAGE?
Absolutely! You will be pleasantly surprised how quickly you learn in a private lesson and reach your goals.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE NEEDED FOR A GROUP LESSON?
Our group lessons are guaranteed. If there are 3 or more people in the lesson, it will be two hours long. If there are two or fewer, then the lesson will be shortened to 1.5 hours.
CAN I GET A PACKAGE THAT INCLUDES A PRIVATE LESSONS, RENTAL AND LIFT TICKET?

SHOULD I RENT MY EQUIPMENT IN TOWN BEFORE I COME UP?
We think you will find the Skibowl packages offer considerable savings and up-to-date equipment.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Participants must be at least 8 years old for group classes (no exceptions).

For Private Lessons, participants must be 4+ for skiing and 6+ for snowboarding.

Private Power Deal packages must be used before the end of the season, at which time unused lessons in the package will expire.

You must check in at least 1-hour before your scheduled lesson time. We cannot accommodate late arrivals and your lesson will be forfeited if you arrive within 40 minutes of the scheduled lesson time.

Plan your day accordingly and ALWAYS check in with Ski School first when you arrive.

Ski School is not responsible for late arrivals due to checking in at the wrong location (such as rentals).

No full refunds will be issued at any point after the reservation is made.

No refunds will be issued after the scheduled date and time of the lesson. If you are late or miss your class time for any reason, we cannot refund or reschedule your reservation.

An administrative fee of $50 will apply to any lesson cancellation prior to 72 hours of scheduled lesson time.

Any lesson cancellation less than 72 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson time lesson forfeits the entire cost of the lesson.

An administrative fee of $50 will apply to any lesson reservation change. Ability to change reservations is subject to availability and may not be possible. To request a change in reservation, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance for a group lesson and 72 hours for a private lesson​. Changes are not possible after those time windows.

In the case of an extreme emergency, we are happy to help reschedule your class following these guidelines:

You must contact us at least 48 hours in advance for a group lesson and 72 hours in advance for a private lesson.

Each student is allowed only one reschedule per season.

Extreme emergencies exclude weather, driving conditions, transportation issues and changes in plans not due to a medical illness or death.

Any changes in reservations due to situations other than extreme emergencies will be subject to a $50 administration fee if notified at least 48 hours in advance for a group lesson and 72 hours for a private lesson. Changes to any reservations within these timeframes are not available and missed or cancelled lessons will forfeit the total cost.

Before registering for your classes, please take a moment to determine the level of your Skier/Snowboarder using our guide. When selecting your class, you are responsible for booking the proper level. If you reserve a class that is not at your level, there are no refunds or guarantees that we will be able to accommodate you in a different lesson. Please book based on ability, not the date or time.
